As a very small workshop, at the moment we only accept Paypal payments, and also Interact for buyers within Canada.
Pieces are not framed unless otherwise is indicated on the description.
Prices are in Canadian dollars, and don't include taxes, shipping, handling or eventual custom expenses if bought abroad.

The Penrose tiling is aperiodic; meaning it extends to the infinite without creating a pattern to replicate itself. It's named after Roger Penrose, who investigated it in the 70's. It's geometry helped to understand quasicrystals. This variation has only two types of shapes, darts and kites, with only seven assembly possibilities. The proportion between the two shapes is the golden ratio.

This big guy has a lot of work, but I can't be happier with the result. I managed to do a hyperbolic tessellation that resolved on a rectangle in stead of a circle (which is the usual). Also I got to create a stronger sense of volume by making the center stick out towards the viewer. That shows also through the depth of the cracks.
